BUILDING / CUSTOM-ORDER AGENT

Mammoth Agent

An agent built around my own China-to-Canada business: turning customer briefs and factory feedback into a clear next step, a quote and a Mandarin purchase order.

PythonFastAPITool useMandarin
  1. 01

    AI understands the request.

Structure requirements and factory feedback. Surface missing details.

  2. 02

    Tools calculate the costs.

Use business rules for exact pricing and freight calculations.

  3. 03

    A person approves the handoff.

Review the Mandarin purchase order before it goes to the factory.

ONE ORDER, THREE STEPSSAMPLE WALKTHROUGH
1. Start with the customer’s message
“I’d like a custom wet/dry combo with our logo. Can the slide be taller, and can you ship it to Vancouver?”
The agent turns it into a clear brief
PRODUCT

CUSTOMIZATION

DESTINATION

OPEN QUESTIONS
Dimensions, logo file, delivery timing
Review point: confirm requirements and factory feasibility before making a commitment.

BUILT / CLUB REIMBURSEMENTS

Reconcile AI

Boat parts, pizza for a social, a trip to a regatta. Members pay upfront, and the treasurer has to make sense of the receipts. I built a reimbursement assistant around my work at the UBC Sailing Club.

PythonStreamlitSQLiteClaude API

Local prototype · Receipt reading, rule checks and a review queue

  1. 01

    Read the receipt.

Extract the merchant, date, amount and items. Claude can read photos and scans when connected.

  2. 02

    Check the claim.

Compare amounts, flag duplicates and check configured rules and category budgets.

  3. 03

    Recommend, then review.

Show the evidence behind approve, reject or review. The treasurer makes the final decision.

See three example claims
Recommend approval

Pizza for a club social

The receipt matches the claim, approval is recorded and the checks pass.

Needs review

A replacement boat part

The receipt is fine, but purchase approval is missing. Ask the member to clarify.

Recommend rejection

A van receipt submitted twice

An earlier claim used the same receipt and has already been reimbursed.

Illustrative claims from the app’s demo. Decisions stay with the treasurer, and payments happen outside the app. Text PDFs work offline; photos and scans need a Claude API connection.

BUILT AT TIKTOK / AI SUPPORT

Lark AI support chatbot

Fewer repeat questions, faster answers for labelers. I reached out to a machine learning engineer, worked through prompt engineering documentation and built a way to answer the questions that kept coming up.

How I approached it

Start with recurring support questions. Turn the answers into chatbot guidance. Keep an issue form available when a question needs a person.

My role at TikTok ↗

Curiosity has taken
me a few places.

People first.
Curious by nature.

I was born in Singapore, grew up in Canada, and studied Urban Studies and Economics at UBC, with a semester in Paris along the way.

I’ve worked at TikTok and started Mammoth Inflatables. Now I’m turning the workflows I know into tools that help people get things done.
